Please, Do come and join us!
We warmly invite you to come and join us.

After the Covid-19 lockdown experience, we are really looking forward to restarting our singing once again and meeting up with old friends. We would encourage anybody who is thinking of trying something new, such as singing, to come and join us, you won't regret it! It would be wonderful to see you and we look forward to giving you a very warm welcome.
We very much look forward to seeing you!

We are hoping to have some Autumn Term rehearsal time between September and December 2020, depending on Government Covid-19 guidelines. Watch this space, as this is where we will put all the start details, amended fees etc.
The committee have decided that although we will begin singing asap, there will be no Autumn Term concert as there are too many unknowns. The music will be decided once we know how much time we have available and how may singers we have. In order to simplify things, we will be using music from our own library.
We would normally ask you to come along shortly after 7:00 p.m to register, pay your fees (see below), pick up your music and catch up with people! Hopefully, we will then be able to start our first rehearsal at 7:15 p.m prompt. Membership fees are shown below.
Please use the maps provided on the Contact page for detailed directions to the rehearsal venues:
We meet between 7:00 and 9:30 pm every Monday evening during term time, with a break for a chat. Members are requested to bring their own refreshments. Feel free to come to one of our concerts in either Lancaster or Bolton-Le-Sands to get a flavour of our singing.
We welcome people of all ages and abilities: experience is not essential and there is no formal audition. However, at the discretion of the musical director, we do reserve the right to give a voice test. We have members who are new to singing and some who are very experienced. The music being rehearsed is introduced carefully to allow for ease of learning. For new members, there is a ‘buddy scheme’ that enables new members to ease into the choir gently.
In addition to our musical activities, we have a good social programme with events throughout the year.
